Mr. Dipak Raj Sood (Chairman): Mr. Dipak Raj Sood managed all aspects of growing Sudtrac from one manufacturing facility to three, in key automotive manufacturing centers in India. The customer footprint now includes OEMs in India, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), TAFE, Escorts, John Deere, SAME, Sonalika among others. Mr. Sood who has a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from St. Xavier's college Calcutta, is the chairman of Sudtrac and on the board of India Forge, Quadra Press, Trident Axles and other companies.
Kunal Sood - Chief Executive Officer (Executive Director): Kunal Sood is a social impact entrepreneur, family business executive, and award-winning disruptive innovator. Currently at Sudtrac Linkages, he serves to take the family-owned company to the next level, while pursuing his passion for leveraging exponential tech and leadership to transform our world for a better future at X Impact Ventures. He is the founder of We The Planet and also serves as Chief Impact Officer at the Chopra Foundation. From serving in the slums of Mumbai with Harvard to building global movements at the United Nations in New York with world leaders, global citizens, and iconic artists, Sood is on a mission to make the impossible possible. Forbes spotlighted him as a global movement builder given his extraordinary work as the founding curator for TEDx at the United Nations. He is a TED Resident, Innovation Fellow at Columbia University and an Executive Fellow at the Indian School of Business. Sood serves as a Global Ambassador for the Non-Violence Project, Singularity University and OpenEXO. Sood has a lifelong love for learning having earned several master’s degrees that include an M.B.A., from Kellogg at Northwestern University and M.A.P.P./M.Phil., from University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Samir Sood (Director): Samir Sood has been a Director of Sudtrac since October 2009. Prior to this Samir Sood was the Head of South Asia, Australia - M&A and Investments for Google Inc., a provider of Internet search technology and has led investments in India such as Seedfund, Erasmic Venture Fund and Ventureast TeNet Fund II and acquisitions in mobile sector such as $750 million acquisition of AdMob. Samir is also responsible for Google.org's investment activities in the region. Prior to his appointment at Google, Samir was a member of the Corporate Business Development team at Cisco Systems, Inc. where he lead wireless acquisitions and investments, which included the $450 million acquisition of Airspace. Samir executed the first venture investment in India (India Games) for Cisco Systems, Inc. among many other acquisitions and investments.
Samir has also worked at Microsoft Corporation as a Market Intelligence Manager identifying growth and market opportunities in the small and medium business software customer segment. Samir started his career on Wall Street with Lehman Brothers as an Investment Banking Analyst in New York. In India, Samir was part of the founding team that set-up the Lehman Brothers Investment Banking office after spending a few years on Wall Street. Samir has operational experience in India, having managed an auto parts manufacturing facility with the India Forge Group of companies.
Samir has a MBA from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Mr. Satya Prakash (Chief Operating Officer): Mr. Satya Prakash has been the plant head of Rudrapur & Faridabad for the last 4 years. He started his career with Sudtrac as an Engineer in R&D and has been involved in various capacities with the company since 1997. Mr. Satya Prakash started the export lines for Sudtrac and has grown the company revenues 5x. Mr. Satya Prakash has a Bachelor of Technology, from VTI University, Rohtak.
